Trust

Me (in a tizzy) : God, can I ask you something?

GOD: Sure.

Me: Promise you won’t get mad?

GOD: I promise.

Me (frustrated): Why did you let so much stuff happen to me today?

GOD: What do you mean?

Me: Well I woke up late,

GOD: Yes

Me: My car took forever to start,

GOD: Okay….

Me (growling): At lunch, they made my sandwich wrong and I had to wait

GOD: Hmmmm..

Me: On the way home, my phone went dead, just as I picked up a call

GOD: All right

Me (loudly): And to top it all off, when I got home, I just wanted to soak my feet in my foot massager and relax, but it wouldn’t work. Nothing went right today! Why did you do that?

GOD: Well let me see….. the death angel was at your bed this morning and I had to send one of the other angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that.

Me (humbled): Oh…

GOD: I didn’t let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that might have hit you if you were on the road

Me (ashamed): …………

GOD: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick and I didn’t want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn’t afford to miss work

Me (embarrassed): Oh…..

GOD: Your phone went dead because the person that was calling was going to give a false witness about what you said on that call, I didn’t even let you talk to them so you would be covered

Me (softly): I see God

GOD: Oh and that foot massager, it had a short that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn’t think you wanted to be in the dark.

Me: I’m sorry God.

GOD: Don’t be sorry, just learn to trust me………in all things, the good and the bad

Me: I WILL trust you God

GOD: And don’t doubt that my plan for your day is always better than your plan

Me: I won’t God. And let me just tell you God, thank you for everything today.

GOD: You’re welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I love looking after my children.

A Choice

After a few of the usual Sunday evening hymns, the church’s pastor slowly stood up, walked over to the pulpit and, before he gave his sermon for the evening, briefly introduced a guest minister who was in the service that evening. In the introduction, the pastor told the congregation that the guest minister was one of his dearest childhood friends and that he wanted him to have a few moments to greet the church and share whatever he felt would be appropriate for the service. With that, an elderly man stepped up to the pulpit and began to speak,

“A father, his son, and a friend of his son were sailing off the Pacific Coast when fast approaching storm blocked any attempt to get back to shore. The waves were so high, that even though the father was an experienced sailor, he could not keep the boat upright, and the three were swept into the ocean as the boat capsized.” The old man hesitated for a moment, making eye contact with two teenagers who were, for the first time since the service began, looking somewhat interested in his story. The aged minister continued with his story, “Grabbing a rescue line, the father had to make the most excruciating decision of his life … to which boy he would throw the other end of the life line. He only had seconds to make the decision.

The father knew that his son was a Christian and he also knew that his son’s friend was not. The agony of his decision could not be matched by the torrent of waves. “As the father yelled out, ‘I love you, son!’ he threw out the life line to his son’s friend. By the time the father had pulled the friend back to the capsized boat, his son had disappeared beneath the raging swells into the black of night. His body was never recovered.”

By this time, the two teenagers were sitting up straight in the pew, anxiously waiting for the next words to come out of the old minister’s mouth. “The father,” he continued, “knew his son would step into eternity with Jesus, and he could not bear the thought of his son’s friend stepping into an eternity without Jesus. Therefore, he sacrificed his son to save his son’s friend. How great is the love of God that He should do the same for us. Our heavenly Father sacrificed His only begotten Son that we could be saved. I urge you to accept His offer to rescue you and take a hold of the life line He is throwing out to you in this service.” With that, the old man turned and sat back down in his chair as silence filled the room.

The pastor again walked slowly to the pulpit and delivered a brief sermon with an invitation at the end. However, no one responded to the appeal. Within minutes after the service ended, the two teenagers were at the old man’s side. “That was a nice story,” politely stated one of the boys, “but I don’t think it was very realistic for a father to give up his only son’s life in hopes that the other boy would become a Christian.” “Well, you’ve got a point there,” the old man replied, glancing down at his worn Bible.

A big smile broadened his narrow face, and he once again looked up at the boys and said, “It sure isn’t very realistic, is it? But I’m standing here today to tell you that THAT story gives me a glimpse of what it must have been like for God to give up His Son for me. You see … I was that father and your pastor is my son’s friend.”

JESUS’ DEATH ~~ 60 SECONDS ~~

A STUDY ON THE NAILS IN OUR LORDS HANDS OR WRISTS

For the next 60 seconds, set aside whatever
you’re doing and take this opportunity!
Let’s see if Satan can stop this…

THE (SCIENTIFIC) DEATH OF JESUS

At the  age of 33,
Jesus was condemned to the death penalty.

At the  time crucifixion was the “worst” death. Only the worst criminals condemned to be crucified. Yet it was even more dreadful for Jesus, for unlike other criminals condemned to death by crucifixion Jesus was nailed to the cross by His hands and feet, rather than tied…

Each  nail was 6 to 8 inches long.

The  nails were driven into His wrist.  Not into His palms  as is commonly
portrayed. There’s a tendon in the wrist that extends to the shoulder.  The Roman guards knew that when the nails were being hammered into the
Wrist, that tendon would tear and break, forcing Jesus to use His back
muscles to support himself, so that He could breathe.

Both of His feet were nailed together. Thus He was forced to support Himself on the single nail that impaled His feet to the cross.  Jesus could not support himself with His legs for long because of the pain, so He was forced to alternate between arching His back and using his legs just to continue to
breath.  Imagine the struggle, the pain, the suffering, the courage.

Jesus endured this reality for over 3 hours.
Yes, over 3 hours! Can you imagine this kind of suffering? A few minutes before He died, Jesus stopped bleeding. He was simply pouring water
from his wounds.

From  common images we see wounds to His hands and feet and even the spear wound to His side…  But do we remember the many wounds
made to his body.  A hammer driving large nails through the wrists, the feet overlapped and a nail hammered through the arches, then a Roman guard piercing  His side with a spear. And… before the nails and the spear, Jesus was whipped and beaten.  The whipping was so severe that it tore the
flesh from His body. The beating so horrific that His face was torn and his beard ripped from His face. The crown of thorns (two to three inch thorns) cut deeply into His scalp. Most men would not have survived this torture.

He had no more blood to bleed out, only water poured from His wounds.  The
human adult body contains about 5 liters (just over a  gallon) of blood.

Jesus  poured all 5 liters of his blood; He had three nails hammered into His
body; a crown of thorns on His head and, beyond that, a Roman soldier who stabbed a spear into His chest..

All  these without mentioning the humiliation He passed after carrying His own cross for almost 2 kilometers, while the crowd  spat in his face and threw stones (the cross beam was almost 30 kg of weight, to which His hands were nailed).

Jesus had to endure this experience, so that you may have free access to God.

So that your sins can be “washed” away.
All of them, with no exception!
Don’t ignore this.

JESUS CHRIST DIED…FOR YOU!

For you, who now read this e-mail.
Do not believe that He only died for others
(those who go to church or for pastors, bishops, etc).

He died for you!
It is easy to e-mail jokes or silly photos, but when it comes to God,
sometimes we feel ashamed to forward a message about Him on
to others.
We are worried of what they “may think.”

Accept  the reality, the truth, that JESUS IS THE ONLY SALVATION FOR THE WORLD.

God has special plans for YOU!
Share this with all your friends…
about what He went through to save you.
Really think about it!

May God bless you!

For the next 60 seconds,
set aside what you’re doing and take
this opportunity! Let’s see if Satan can stop this.

All you  have to do
is:

1. Pray for the person who sent this message to you.

2. Send this message to 10 people…More if you wish.

3.That way, 10 people will pray for you
and you will encourage many people
to pray to God for others.

4. Take a moment to appreciate the power of God in your life, as you do what pleases Him.

If you are not ashamed to do this, please, follow Jesus’ instructions.
He said (Matthew 10:32 & 33): “Everyone therefore
who acknowledges me before others, I also will acknowledge
before My Father in heaven; but whosoever denies Me
before  others,  I also will deny before My
Father in  heaven”.

If you  believe,
send this message… But send it only if you believe
in Christ Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

Yes, I love God. He
is my source of life and my Savior.
He keeps me alive and safe, both day and night.

Without Him, I am nothing,
but with Him “I can do all things through Him
who strengthens me”. Philippians 4:13.

Beautiful Christian Woman’s Day

When I say that ‘I am a Christian’, I am not shouting that I am clean living.

I’m whispering ‘I was lost, but now I’m found and forgiven.’

When I say ‘I am a Christian’ I don’t speak of this with pride.

I’m confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say ‘I am a Christian’ I’m not trying to be strong.

I’m professing that I’m weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say ‘I am a Christian’ I’m not bragging of success.

I’m admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say ‘I am a Christian’ I’m not claiming to be perfect.

My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say ‘I am a Christian’ I still feel the sting of pain.

I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say ‘I am a Christian’ I’m not holier than thou,

I’m just a simple sinner who received God’s good grace, somehow!

Today is Beautiful Christian Woman’s Day.

Pretty is as Pretty does but, Beautiful is just plain Beautiful..

I’m supposed to send this to Beautiful Women, and you are one of them!!!

If you share this with other women, you will boost another woman’s self esteem, and she will know you care about her!

Be Blessed, & Be a Blessing.

Forrest Gump Goes To Heaven

The day finally arrived. Forrest Gump dies and goes to Heaven.

He is at the Pearly Gates, met by St. Peter himself.

However, the gates are closed, and Forrest approaches the gatekeeper.

St. Peter said, ‘Well, Forrest, it is certainly good to see you.

We have heard a lot about you. I must tell you, though, that the place is filling up fast, and we have been administering an entrance examination for everyone. The test is short, but you have to pass it before you can get into Heaven.’

Forrest responds, ‘It sure is good to be here, St. Peter, sir.

But nobody ever told me about any entrance exam.

I sure hope that the test ain’t too hard.

Life was a big enough test as it was.’

St. Peter continued, ‘Yes, I know, Forrest, but the test is only three questions.

First:

What two days of the week begin with the letter T?

Second:

How many seconds are there in a year?

Third:

What is God’s first name?’

Forrest leaves to think the questions over.

He returns the next day and sees St. Peter, who waves him up, and says, ‘Now that you have had a chance to think the questions over, tell me your answers.’

Forrest replied, ‘Well, the first one — which two days in the week begins with the letter ‘T’?

Shucks, that one is easy. That would be Today and Tomorrow.’

The Saint’s eyes opened wide and he exclaimed, ‘Forrest, that is not what I was thinking, but you do have a point, and I guess I did not specify, so I will give you credit for that answer. How about the next one?’ asked St. Peter.

‘How many seconds in a year?

Now that one is harder,’ replied Forrest, ‘but I thunk and thunk about that, and I guess the only answer can be twelve.’

Astounded, St. Peter said, ‘Twelve? Twelve? Forrest, how in Heaven’s name could you come up with twelve seconds in a year?’

Forrest replied, ‘Shucks, there’s got to be twelve: January 2nd, February 2nd, March 2nd… ‘

‘Hold it,’ interrupts St. Peter. ‘I see where you are going with this, and I see your point, though that was not quite what I had in mind…but I will have to give you credit for that one, too. Let us go on with the third and final question.

Can you tell me God’s first name’?

‘Sure,’ Forrest replied, ‘it’s Andy.’

‘Andy?’ exclaimed an exasperated and frustrated St Peter.

‘Ok, I can understand how you came up with your answers to my first two questions, but just how in the world did you come up with the name Andy as the first name of God?’

‘Shucks, that was the easiest one of all,’ Forrest replied. ‘I learnt it from the song,

ANDY WALKS WITH ME,

ANDY TALKS WITH ME,

ANDY TELLS ME I AM HIS OWN.’

St. Peter opened the Pearly Gates, and said:

‘Run, Forrest, Run.’

THE SNEEZE

I think this is awesome!!!

They walked in tandem, each of the ninety-two students filing into the already crowded auditorium. With their rich maroon gowns flowing and the traditional caps, they looked almost as grown up as they felt.

Dads swallowed hard behind broad smiles, and Moms freely brushed away tears.

This class would NOT pray during the commencements, not by choice, but because of a recent court ruling prohibiting it.

The principal and several students were careful to stay within the guidelines allowed by the ruling. They gave inspirational and challenging speeches, but no one mentioned divine guidance and no one asked for blessings on the graduates or their families.

The speeches were nice, but they were routine until the final speech received a standing ovation.

A solitary student walked proudly to the microphone. He stood still and silent for just a moment, and then, it happened.

All 92 students, every single one of them, suddenly SNEEZED !!!!

The student on stage simply looked at the audience and said,

‘GOD BLESS YOU’

And he walked off the stage…

The audience exploded into applause. This graduating class had found a unique way to invoke God’s blessing on their future with or without the court’s approval.

Isn’t this a wonderful story? Share it with all your friends………and

GOD BLESS YOU!!!!

This is a true story; it happened at Eastern Shore District High School in Musquodoboit Harbour, Nova Scotia.

I hope this goes around Canada…and the USA….and the rest of the world!!!

The Will and Grace of God

‘To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.’
When God takes something from your grasp, He’s not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better.
Concentrate on this sentence… ‘The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.’

FOOTPRINTS…A New Version

Imagine you and the Lord Jesus are walking down the road together.  For much of the way, the Lord’s footprints go along steadily, consistently, rarely varying the pace.

But your footprints are a disorganized stream of zigzags, starts, stops, turnarounds, circles, departures, and returns.

For much of the way, it seems to go like this, but gradually your footprints come more in line with the Lord’s, soon paralleling, His consistently…

You and Jesus are walking as true friends!

This seems perfect, but then an interesting thing happens: Your footprints that once etched the sand next to Jesus’ are now walking precisely in His steps.

Inside His larger footprints are your smaller ones, you and Jesus are becoming one..

This goes on for many miles, but gradually you notice another change.  The footprints inside the large footprints seem to grow larger.

Eventually they disappear altogether. There is  only one set of footprints.. They have become one.

This goes on for a long time, but suddenly the second set of footprints is back. This time it seems even worse! Zigzags all over the place.  Stops.  Starts. Gashes in the sand.  A variable mess of prints.

You are amazed and shocked.  Your dream ends. Now you pray:   ‘Lord, I understand the first scene, with zigzags and fits. I was a new Christian; I was just learning. But You walked on through the storm and helped me learn to walk with You.’

‘That is correct.’
‘And when the smaller footprints were inside of Yours, I was actually learning to walk in Your steps, following You very closely..’

‘Very good.. You have understood everything so far..’  When the smaller footprints grew and filled in Yours, I suppose that I was becoming like You in every way.’

‘Precisely.’
‘So, Lord, was there a regression or something ? The footprints separated, and this time it was worse than at first.’

There is a pause as the Lord answers, with a smile in His voice.

‘You didn’t know? It was then that we danced!’

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: A time to weep, a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance. Ecclesiastes 3:1-4

Funny how you can send a thousand ‘jokes’ through-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Funny isn’t it? Are you laughing? Are you thinking? Spread the Word and give thanks to the Lord for He is good!

Funny isn’t it, when you go to forward this message, how many on your list are not receiving it because you’re not sure they believe?

Sad.
It’s not WHAT you have in your life, but Who you have in your life that counts..  Think about that.

I asked GOD for a flower, He gave me a garden. I asked for a tree, He gave me a forest. I asked for a river, He gave me an ocean. I asked for a friend, He gave me ‘YOU.’

Send this to whomever you think of as a friend…

Prayer

Prayer is powerful, and
Is one of the best gifts we receive.
There is no cost but a lot of  rewards.
Let’s continue to pray  for one another.

Prayer:
*Father, I ask You to Bless*

I care deeply for, who are reading this right now.
Show them a new revelation of your  Love and power.

Where there is self-doubt, release a
Renewed confidence through your grace.
Where there is need,
I ask you to fulfill their needs.

Their goings and their comings.

A Man, His Dog, and Heaven This explains why we forward jokes

A Man, His Dog, and Heaven

This explains why we forward jokes:

A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead.

He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years. He wondered where the road was leading them.

After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine marble. At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight.

When he was standing before it he saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl, and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold. He and the dog walked toward the gate, and as he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side.

When he was close enough, he called out, “Excuse me, where are we?”

“This is Heaven, sir,” the man answered.

“Wow! Would you happen to have some water?” the man asked.

“Of course, sir. Come right in, and I’ll have some ice water brought right up.”

The man gestured, and the gate began to open.

“Can my friend,” gesturing toward his dog, “come in, too?” the traveler asked.

“I’m sorry, sir, but we don’t accept pets.”

The man thought a moment and then turned back toward the road and continued the way he had been going with his dog.

After another long walk, and at! the top of another long hill, he came to a dirt road leading through a farm gate that looked as if it had never been closed. There was no fence.

As he approached the gate, he saw a man inside, leaning against a tree and reading a book.

“Excuse me!” he called to the man. “Do you have any water?”

“Yeah, sure, there’s a pump over there, come on in.”

“How about my friend here?” the traveler gestured to the dog.

“There should be a bowl by the pump.”

They went through the gate, and sure enough, there was an old-fashioned hand pump with a bowl beside it.

The traveler filled the water bowl and took a long drink himself, then he gave some to the dog.

When they were full, he and the dog walked back toward the man who was standing by the tree.

“What do you call this place?” the traveler asked.

“This is Heaven,” he answered.

“Well, that’s confusing,” the traveler said. “The man down the road said that was Heaven, too.”

“Oh, you mean the place with the gold street and pearly gates? Nope. That’s hell.”

“Doesn’t it make you mad for them to use your name like that?”

“No, we’re just happy that they screen out the folks who would leave their best friends behind.”

Soooo…

Sometimes, we wonder why friends keep forwarding jokes to us without writing a word.

Maybe this will explain.

When you are very busy, but still want to keep in touch, guess what you do? You forward jokes.

When you have nothing to say, but still want to keep contact, you forward jokes.

When you have something to say, but don’t know what, and don’t know how, you forward jokes.

Also to let you know that you are still remembered, you are still important, you are still loved, you are still cared for, guess what you get?

A forwarded joke.

So, next time if you get a joke, don’t think that you’ve been sent just another forwarded joke, but that you’ve been thought of today and your friend on the other end of your computer wanted to send you a smile.

You are welcome @my water bowl anytime!

God Bless You!

B.A.D.

B.A.D.

While shopping, a woman spotted a man with an acronym on his shirt that had B..A.D.

Being the person that she was (curious), she stopped the man and asked,

“What does B.A.D. Stand for?” And trust me; you’ll be amazed at what his response was.

He replied B.A.D. Stands for: “Blessed And Delivered”.

That thought stuck with her as she finished doing her shopping that day.

So she came up with a little advice for you today.

  1. When the enemy tries to attack you, be B.A.D.
  2. When things don’t seem to be going right on your job, be B.A.D.
  3. When things are not looking good in your marriage, be B.A.D.
  4. When folks scandalize your name, just be B.A.D.

Get with somebody who you know that you can be B.A.D. With!!!

May God Bless You And Have a B.A.D. Day!

Any person that can kneel before God can stand before anything.

Now share this with the people who you know won’t mind being B.A.D.

Thank God – Take Time To Pray

Thank You God

Take time to pray

It only takes a minute out of your busy day!

I started not to do this, but as I  read it….

I understood God to say, ‘You need a miracle tomorrow…. So here
goes… Prov.  29:25…

You never know when  God is going to bless you!!

Good things happen  when you least expect them to !!!

Dear Lord, I thank You for this  day,

I thank You for my  being able to see and to hear this morning.

I’m blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God.

You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me.

Forgive me this day  for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to  you.

I ask now for Your  forgiveness.

Please keep me safe  from all danger and harm.

Help me to start  this Day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude.

Let me make the  best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from  You.

Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things.

Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over.

And give the best response when I’m  pushed beyond my  limits.

I know that when I can’t pray, You  listen to my heart.

Continue to use me to do Your will.

Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others Keep me strong
that I may help  the weak…

Keep me uplifted  that I may have words of encouragement for others.

I pray for those that are lost and can’t find their  way.

I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood.

I pray for those who don’t know You intimately.

I pray for those that will delete this without sharing it with others.

I pray for those that don’t believe.

But I thank you that I believe that God changes people and God changes  things.

I pray for all my  sisters and all my brothers.

I pray for each and every family member in their  households…

I pray for peace, love, and joy in their homes.

I pray that they are out of debt and all their needs are  met.

I pray that every  eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or  situation greater than God.

Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight.

I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees  it.

God  Bless You!!!

Repeat this  comforting phrase and see how God moves you!

God, I love you and I need  you.

Come into my heart,  please.

Amen.

Life Lessons

Life Lessons

This is something we should all read at least once a week!!!! ………

Written By Regina Brett, 90 years old, of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio

“To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me.. It is the most-requested column I’ve ever written.

My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:

1. Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.

2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.

3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone…

4. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will.. Stay in touch

5. Pay off your credit cards every month.

6. You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

7. Cry with someone. It’s more healing than crying alone.

8. It’s OK to get angry with God. He can take it.

9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.

10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.

11. Make peace with your past so it won’t screw up the present.

12. It’s OK to let your children see you cry.

13. Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn’t be in it.

15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don’t worry; God never blinks.

16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.

17. Get rid of anything that isn’t useful, beautiful or joyful.

18. Whatever doesn’t kill you really does make you stronger.

19.. It’s never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.

20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don’t take no for an answer.

21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don’t save it for a special occasion. Today is special.

22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.

23. Be eccentric now. Don’t wait for old age to wear purple.

24. The most important sex organ is the brain.

25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.

26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words ‘In five years, will this matter?’

27. Always choose life.

28. Forgive everyone everything.

29. What other people think of you is none of your business.

30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.

31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

32. Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

33. Believe in miracles.

34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn’t do.

35. Don’t audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.

36.. Growing old beats the alternative — dying young.

37. Your children get only one childhood.

38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.

43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

45. Life isn’t tied with a bow, but it’s still a gift.”

A holy man was having a conversation with God one day and said,
‘ God , I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.’

God led the holy man to two doors..

He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in.

In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man’s mouth water.

The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished.

They were holding spoons with very long handles, that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful.

But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.

The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering.

God said, ‘You have seen Hell.’

They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one.

There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man’s mouth water.

The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking. The holy man said, ‘I don’t understand..’

It is simple,’ said God . ‘It requires but one skill.

You see they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves.’

Remember that I will always share my spoon with you!

Friends are the family that we choose for ourselves!

“Little” John the Baptist

Matthew 18:4-5

“Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And who ever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. ”

Johnny’s Mother looked out the window and noticed him “playing church” with their cat.

He had the cat sitting quietly and he was preaching to it.

She smiled and went about her work.

A while later she heard loud meowing and hissing and ran back To the open window to see Johnny baptizing the cat in a tub of water.

She called out, “Johnny, stop that! The cat is afraid of water!”

Johnny looked up at her and said,

“He should have thought about that before he joined my church.”

Smile, it gives your face something to do!

Subject: Acts 2:38

A woman had just returned to her home from an evening of church services, when she was startled by an intruder.. She caught the man in the act of robbing her home of its valuables and yelled: ‘Stop! Acts 2:38!’

(Repent and be Baptized, in the name of Jesus Christ , so that your sins may be forgiven.)

The burglar stopped in his tracks. The woman calmly called the police and explained what she had done.

As the officer cuffed the man to take him in, he asked the burglar: ‘Why did you just stand there? All the old lady did was yell a scripture to you.’

‘Scripture?’ replied the burglar.. ‘She said she had an Ax and Two 38s!’

Send this to someone who needs a laugh today and remember: Knowing scripture can save your life – in more ways than one!
